This book is the fourth in the Tony Tapir and Friends series written by Patricia Chew.

Targeted at children between the ages of 9 to 12, this book promises to be an exciting read. The story starts with an earthquake in fictitious Evergreen Forest, which disrupts a Peranakan fashion show held by the tapirs. This is enough to cause jailbreaks in Tapirville and Sunbear Territory. Not only that.

There is also an ATM heist. Someone also wants to prevent Duke Duck from helping the injured sunbears. Engineered by the villains in the third book, you have to read to find out if they are caught.

There is also a helpful glossary in the book to explain to the reader the different terms used in the Peranakan culture.

With today’s emphasis on sustainability, the young reader will also learn about eco-friendly resorts and ideas which the animals conjure up to build a home for Bruno the Bear and Sunny the Bear. 🐻
